Mansfield Police Log Through August 10

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

August 7

7:29 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle). Allen Street. Party reporting breaking and entering to motor vehicle over night. 

7:31 a.m. Malicious Damage. Kerry Drive. Party reports her vehicles are egged overnight. Wanted it logged only. 

8:14 a.m. Harassment/Threats. Spring Street. Reporting Party walked into station to report ongoing harassment by her daughter's boyfriend who she believes and would like to know what to do if he shows up at her home. Party advised of her options. Clear. 

8:36 a.m. Missing Person/runaway. Fox Street. Reporting Party reports her four-year-old son is now missing. Child is reported to be at Central Street. Reporting Party is transported to Central Street and then both are transported home. 

9:23 a.m. Malicious damage. South Park Lane. Reporting Party reports his mailbox was damaged last night at some point. Several other mailboxes were smashed on South Park Lane as well. 

10:26 a.m. Malicious Damage. Windsor Place. Homeowner reports he is at work but wanted to let the department know that his mailbox was damaged. 

6:57 p.m. Malicious Damage. Douglas Drive. Reporting Party reports vandalism to his mailbox overnight. 

10:49 p.m. Identity Theft. Reporting Party into station reporting Identity Theft.

11:22 p.m. Larceny (Motor Vehicle). Mansfield Gas Service, 54 Chauncy Street. Caller reports her motor vehicle was stolen by her grandson. 

August 8

1:55 p.m. Larceny (Misdemeanor). Comcast Center, South Main Street. Reporting Party into the station to report his son's iPhone was stolen from the Comcast Center last night. Reporting Party is unsure of the phone was stolen or fell out of his pocket. GPS on the phone shows it is in Abington. Abington Police Department contacted and will be waiting for the Reporting Party to come to their station prior to checking the location of the phone. 

5:35 p.m. Disturbance/General. Crocker Street. Reporting Party reports someone is overly aggressive. Officer reports highly intoxicated male, transported to Sturdy Hospital. Management will be starting eviction process. 

9:56 p.m. Suspicious Person/Motor Vehicle. Train station, Crocker Street. Officer reports being flagged down for a highly intoxicated male near the tracks. Officer reports party has been put into a taxi and returned to Sharon. 

August 9

12:14 a.m. Reporting Party reports her neighbors downstairs are harassing her. 

8:45 a.m. Larceny (Felony). Monahan Lane. Reporting Party called to report her iPhone was stolen from the Comcast Center earlier this week. Involved is a white iPhone 4S stolen sometime during the Wiz Khalifa concert. 

1:20 p.m. Harassments/Threats. Party in lobby requests to speak to an officer about threats to himself by another party. Reporting Party states the other person got upset when he asked for money that is owed to him. Threatening party reportedly said he would "get him" when he is off the property.

9:27 p.m. Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle). Reporting Party reports his vehicle was broken into sometime within the past two hours. Phone, wallet, atm/credit cards and approximately $200 cash taken. Vehicle was unsecured. 

9:40 p.m. Animal complaint. Samoset Ave. Bat inside the residence. Bat has left residence, all clear. 

August 10

10:41 a.m. Animal Complaint. Caller reports her black German Shepard, named Sydney, left the residence on Friday and has not returned. Dog is collared and tagged. 

11:47 p.m. Malicious Damage. Reporting Party reports he just chased away a dark colored sedan that was smashing mailboxes in the area.
