Tractor Trailer Rollover Snarls Commute in Mansfield

Drivers should seek alternate routes, two left lanes are closed.

State Police said the crash scene was cleared at about 11:20 a.m. and all lanes of traffic were reopened.

An early morning tractor trailer rollover on I-95 Northbound prior to I-495 in Mansfield is expected to seriously impact Tuesday’s commute.

Massachusetts State Police say cleanup could take more than two hours, advising commuters to seek an alternate route.

The rollover happened about a quarter mile before Exit 6A/B for I-495. Two left lanes are closed.

As of 7:30 a.m., traffic was backed up for more than 8 miles.

Just before 8 a.m., crews started the process of removing the truck.
