Mansfield's Rhett Wiseman and the Cotuit Kettleers won the Cape Cod League championship Thursday night with a 6-1 win over the Orleans Firebirds in Orleans.
The Kettleers took a1-0 lead in their Cape Cod League championsip with a 4-2 win over the Orleans Firebirds Wednesday afternoon.
This is their first title since 2019.
During the regular season, Wiseman was Cotuit's top offensive player with a .294 average in 41 games, along four homers, 25 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
