The Mansfield High School golf team tryouts will be taking place Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 12:30 p.m. On both days, tryouts will be held at Norton Country Club, 180 Oak St., Norton.
Golfers will play nine holes of golf each day. Each person is responsible for bringing their own equipment, clubs, bags, ball, tees, shoes, etc. Golfers will be walking and carrying their clubs. Proper golf course attire is required, including a collared shirt and appropriate shorts/slacks (no jeans, cutoffs, etc.).
In order to be able to tryout for the golf team, prospective players must have the following complete and submitted to Mrs. Harrington in the MHS Athletic office:
--registration form
--up to date physical exam from your physician (up to date means within the past 13 months) --paid sports activity fee; in the event you do not make the team, this will be refunded.
